Camp Friendship is an annual non-profit event sponsored by The Grand Supreme Holy Trinity Association. The Camp was created to provide an atmosphere of acceptance and creativity in which youth are given the opportunity to fellowship with their peers. While engaged at camp the youth are challenged to learn more about themselves while being motivated to evaluate their relationship with God and Christ.
"Our religion is the religion of knowledge, and of the true light, in Christ Jesus. It is the religion of life and of the true light of life, which is glorious in glory. It is the religion of excellent knowledge, and of pure power, which is, by that, wisdom, which is true and everlasting. For evidence, see St. John, 17th Chapter, 3, 7, 14, 18, 21, 22, and 23 Verses, and see Revelation, 12th Chapter, 1 and 5 Verses."
Archbishop Justus James Evans, D.D.G., Founder of the Grand Supreme Holy Trinity Association and
The Almighty Church, was born a slave in April 13, 1860, on the farm of Frank Houston, in Bourbon
County, Kentucky.
Archbishop Evans established himself as the direct messenger of God sent direct to the people of America to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth. Archbishop Evans began by introducing (7) Supreme Principles and (49) Degrees as attributes of God and Christ. These principles are the foundation from which our organization teaches from. The (7) Supreme Principles are: Honor, Love, Knowledge, Wisdom, Truth, Mercy, and Justice. Each Supreme Principle is associated with a number, color and a set of Degrees from the 49 (not listed).
On August 4, 1891, he was called by Almighty God to organize this church in the State of Kansas under the laws of the United States Constitution and to reestablish it, supremely on October 21, 1891. Archbishop Evans fulfilled his mission and purpose to establish the Seven Almighty Churches in states all over the U.S., including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Missouri and Georgia.
The personal connection here in the Youngstown/Warren area, is attributed to the works of, Archbishop Evans, the Founder of the Grand Supreme Holy Trinity Association and his establishment of "The Beulah Land Farms" in Vienna, Ohio. This endeavor was quite an undertaking initiated by him and his associates on June 10, 1920, and through much diligence, hard work and determination they were able to purchase a total of 418 acres of land in order to establish a "Righteous Training Colony". It was coined "a city of refuge", and its purpose was to teach, train and educate the youth while augmenting the works of Christ. The Beulah Land Farms, from 1920-1924, under the direction of Archbishop Evans, fulfilled its ultimate purpose- providing food, shelter, clothing and a supreme education.
Once Archbishop Evans was called from his labor of love to his reward, the works of The Grand Supreme Holy Trinity Association, The Seven Supreme Churches of Almighty God and the Beulah Land Farms, continued to be carried on by some of his associates and faithful True Light Missionaries in various parts of the country, which brings us to the present day.
